Alfa Cecilie + 2.0 GTX Hiking Shoes Light Violet women's shoes are an updated lightweight 3-season hiking shoe from the Norwegian manufacturer ALFA. This hiking shoe model was specially developed for women in collaboration with the famous mountaineer and adventurer Cecilie Skog. This model is suitable for light trekking and everyday use, featuring an integrated ankle sock, a shock-absorbing EVA foam midsole, a stable Vibram Grip Trail sole with great traction on hard surfaces and a waterproof GORE-TEX comfort membrane. Using the considerable experience of Cecile Skog (a Norwegian mountaineer known for crossing Antarctica on skis without external assistance, climbing the K2 and completing the so-called Seven Summits - climbing the highest peaks on each of the seven continents) from countless treks and the long tradition of mountain boot craftsmanship, the Norwegians at ALFA have truly created the ultimate women's hiking boot. They are light and comfortable with a modern design and go equally well with hiking leggings and a sports skirt. Cecilie + 2.0 GTX is a second generation innovative model of textile hiking boots with very good grip and optimal stability. They are intended for hiking and light walking in the city, on forest trails and dirt roads and their design is focused on active ladies who alternate between different sports in nature such as cycling, running and hiking. This women's model features an integrated elastic ankle sock that improves the feeling of stability and acts as a gaiter, protecting against water and the entry of small stones and dust into the shoes. The outer fabric is a highly resistant ripstop textile and the seams are taped for increased water resistance. The fabric is combined with the GORE-TEX Comfort membrane makes the shoe waterproof and breathable.
